My Story

A path of purpose...

About Genesis

I believe you were created for so much more than just getting through your days. God formed you with a purpose, gifts nobody else carries, and a future filled with hope. My heart is to help you see that clearly, to help you believe it in the deepest part of yourself, and to walk it out with confidence.

I did not always see my own path clearly either. I thought I was going to be a pediatrician. I studied Psychology Pre Med at Spelman College and had my whole future mapped out in my mind. But God had a different plan. In 2012, at just 19 years old, I came home to Delaware to help with my family's business. I had no formal training and honestly, I was a little scared. I quickly learned that leadership was never about having every answer. It was about trusting God, holding onto His vision for me, and taking the next step even when I could not see the whole staircase.

That season taught me something I carry with me every day. God is so good at meeting us right where we are, and His strength really does show up the most in our weakest moments. That is where real growth begins, and honestly, it is where I fell in love with leadership.

Since then, I have had the joy of encouraging and equipping thousands of people, entrepreneurs, executives, pastors, and ministry teams. I have worked alongside churches, nonprofits, corporations, and small businesses, helping visionaries stop doubting the dream God placed in their hearts and finally start building it. I also had the privilege of serving with the Women's Business Center in Delaware through the SBA, helping entrepreneurs grow with confidence in digital marketing and e commerce.

You are not behind. You are not too late. God has been preparing you the whole time.

As much as I love business and strategy, my greatest joy is helping people grow in faith. I want every leader I speak to walk away believing their work truly matters, their voice truly matters, and God is not finished with them yet.

In 2025, I stepped into a deeper season of ministry as a servant leader at my home church, Revival Fellowship Church. Serving there has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. In June 2026, I had the honor of graduating from the Living Word School of Ministry and Missions, which only deepened my heart for this calling.

Outside of speaking and teaching, I serve as Director of Admissions at The DaySchool for Children in New Castle, Delaware, where I get to be part of shaping young hearts and minds every day. And when I am not pouring into leaders or the next generation, you will probably find me on the golf course. Golf has genuinely become a place of ministry for me too. I serve as the Marketing Chair for The Green's Ladies Golf Club, Inc., and I love supporting the charity tournaments we host throughout the Philadelphia region.

I am so grateful to share this life with my husband, Melvin. We split our time between Chicago and Delaware, and every season together reminds me how faithful God has been.

My mission is simple: to awaken hope in leaders, help them remember why God created them, and equip them with the encouragement, wisdom, and spiritual strength to walk boldly in all He has planned for their lives.
