“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10 ESV)
Vocabulary.com defines workmanship like this: “The noun workmanship can describe the hard work and skill that go into making something or working at a task — and it can also describe a quality of a handmade object that is skillfully crafted.“
The first thing that jumped out at me was towards the end. It was the word “handmade”. God created us individually with unique gifts, talents, and abilities. I think we often forget how unique we really are and how powerful that is. Ephesians says that we were created for good works that God set in motion before we came into this world. God knew where you would be at this very moment. The good that you’ve been created to do has been orchestrated by God. Do not take the work that you do for granted. Wherever God has placed you, operate as unto the Father. Good is flowing within you so that it can come out of you and impact and influence others. You were not brought into this world by mistake. You were created to do good. Stop waiting on others to do what God has called you to do. Don’t stop. Don’t try to run in the opposite direction of your abilities. Let them flow and watch the favor of God flow in your life.
Wake Up & Win Confession: Good Morning Holy Spirit. I thank You that You have created me to do good works. My hands are filled with good. My mind is filled with good. My feet are filled with good steps in order to be a blessing to somebody else. I have been made to glorify Jesus and bring glory to His name. I submit to the will of the Father just like Jesus did when He came to Earth to fulfill His purpose. I only do as the Father wills. Be glorified Heavenly Father.
